I'm in my new work since last Monday and I remember when I started, I had absorbed in worries. However, my colleagues are fine, helpful and they aren't hesitate instead of me.
I met some new technologies too. I try to work with Business Inteligence tool QlikView. It's Swedish product and looks simply. Last week, on Friday, I passed out short meeting with our team. I had short presence and this occasion was cool. While I was speaking English, I didn't be nervous and because there was a lot of important people (I.E from India) so I was happy.
However, I've less time than before :(, but if I want to leave a good impression, I have to seek. See you later...

A race against time
Sometime I think if I were born in the United Kingdom, the United States, Kanada or some other interesting places where English is primary language, I would be able to do some things much easier. On the other side I like learning new things and English is very interesting language for me and I'm happy that I've a lot of perfect opportunities to improve this one. Recently I found my dream work in data warehouses and business intelligence area in English speaking corporation, I often watch english channels on television and today I found this blog.
I don't plan to write for material or financial gain, I'd like to write texts only for my pleasure when I want to do. My English isn't perfect, however I truly believe that my texts will be readable.
Because it's my first text on this blog, let's me introduce myself. My name is Radek Tomasek, I'm 23 and I'm from the Czech Republic from Ostrava city. I'm still student at university in Ostrava when I'd like to finish my activities this semestr and if I leave an good impression with my Bachelor thesis, I get academic title. Our university is fine, but I'm very sophisticated, so I won't continue with my study at university after I'll finish my Bachelor thesis and get BC title. I'd like improve my professional knowledge within top quality firm because I'm out of real practice and as I said, recently I found my dream work in data warehouses and business intelligence area in English speaking corporation.
If you are from the Czech Republic too, you can be interested in my other activities. E.g. I work for Czech Radio for E-tip (in Czech ITip) web section. I like this job, but I'll resign for my position because I'd like to spend a lot of time with data warehouses. :)
